a beautiful restoration by anna noguera

Perhaps I need to take a Spanish vacation because I’ve been attracted to spanish interiors a lot lately. Alemanys 5 is no exception. This 16th century building is located in the oldest district of Girona, where architect Anna Noguera created 2 separate short-term rental apartments within the same structure. She only used iron, concrete and oak wood for the renovation, respecting the original envelope as much as possible. I think the clean lines and understated elegance  are perfect for the gorgeous stone walls that dominate the spaces. The color palette beautifully remains within the natural tones of the building and of the old city. What do you think?
