johanna burke in brooklyn

Hello all!

It’s been a fabulous computer-free month but we’re very happy to be back with lovely inspirations for the much-awaited 2012. We’re assuming the Mayans were right, so every day counts this year! May you all find love and happiness, health and hope, family and friends.

Johanna Burke has lived in New York City for over 15 years. She’s one of the artists responsible for the legendary Bergdorf holiday windows. Her studio in Brooklyn feels lived-in and authentic, and plenty of very personal collections, curiosities and other lovely objects. The lighting she enjoys in this space is great.

I’m loving that organized desk space! Studio apartments are hard to decorate and this was done greatly!
